I hold a masters degree in community counseling from the University of Cincinnati. I have advanced certifications in yoga (500 E-RYT), bodywork (CMT I/II) Reiki II, and Holotropic breathwork. I have maintained a counseling practice for the entirety of my career.
I have practiced and taught yoga for 17 years. 200-hour CYT with Darren Main, and 300-hour advanced training with Yoga Tree. I now teach for 200-hour training programs.
Music has been with me throughout my life in various ways. I sang in church choirs as a child. In school I played and studied classical trumpet. More recently I have studied semi-classical Indian music. I now play devotional music weekly and monthly at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.
